Ric Rac photoshop action

Happy Mother's Day! After a fun morning and afternoon at the beach, I came home and put the baby down for a nap, watched some TV and ate some yummy Wholly Guacamole then sat down at the computer hoping to do something productive! What I came up with is a simple photoshop action to make ric rac! I am pretty pleased with it. All you need to do is download the action, load it and run it. It will make the ric rac the color that your foreground color is set to so just set whatever color you want your ric rac to be as your foreground color and run the action. It's that simple! Spring Paper Set

Well my Yes It's Springtime kit has become just a paper set. I am still working on embellishments  but I thought I'd just release the papers now for you to enjoy. They are my first attempt and I welcome any suggestions you may have to make them better. I have also been experimenting with making some cool overlays and more templates so I will post those in the next few days also (or sooner if I have time!)

Graduation template

I am still in the process of finishing my first kit - Yes it's Springtime. I have been working with new overlays for paper and some embellishments. In the meantime, here is a simple template for the upcoming graduation season. It is just a one picture one. I made one many, many years ago for my college graduation using good old "real" paper and scissors and it inspired me to do a digital template. Enjoy.

Almost!

Just as I am getting really into creating my first kit, my family and I decide to go on a last minute vacation to Orlando for 4 days! Not to say that I am not thrilled to take a little trip and see friends and do "touristy" things but I really wanted to have this kit done and posted. I guess it will have to wait. I am attaching a little preview of it. I hope to have some more embellishments and other items when it is all finished (hopefully by the weekend!)

I was ambitious!!

I totally forgot that I had to help mom with her garage sale today (all day) which left me no time to work on DS stuff. So I will have to work on it tomorrow. Not that there is anyone reading this (but you never know - hopefully) Take care and good night!

Just starting out

I have always liked scrapbooking but never had the time to take out all the supplies, organize them, make pages and then put it all away. I heard about digital scrapbooking and thought it was perfect for me. I love Photoshop and know it pretty well so this seemed to be a great fit for me! I have spent countless hours looking for tutorials, element, kits, templates, etc. on the net and have found some great sources. I plan of trying to make some myself to share with the digital scrapbooking community. Check back often as I will try to update daily!
